While English Bible translations are abundant, many African languages still lack a single complete translation of the scriptures in their heart languages—let alone multiple versions.

This imbalance is a form of injustice that must be addressed.

To quote my translator colleague of blessed memory – Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowder, “communication is better done in our mother’s tongue”.

Since language is like a chamelleon that keeps changing with time and environment, every Languages deserves scripture translation and scripture use.

The Bible has historically driven personal and societal transformation.

For a continent like Africa—often burdened by crises—access to God’s Word in indigenous languages is vital for holistic and lasting change.
